PILGRIMAGE FOR THE PLANET
Jointly organised by the Oxford branches of the Laudate Si movement and Christian Climate Action for its third year, the pilgrimage passes through the centre of Oxford visiting sites where we lament the destruction of nature by humankind, and pray for action to restore and live sustainably with all God’s creation.
Prayers are offered at each stop and there are short services at Christchurch and St Frideswide’s church. There will be a comfort break at the Catholic Chaplaincy, and a picnic lunch can be eaten at St Frideswide’s after the final service.
Start: 11.15 outside Blackfriars priory, St Giles.
